About me
Greetings, I'm Vivek Arora, a recent Computer Science graduate from BITS Pilani.
I'm currently a Software Engineer at Palantir in New York, where I have engaged in a diverse range of projects. My current focus involves developing a backend service dedicated to auditing Foundry Contour, enabling the identification of malicious intent in user data accesses. Additionally, I've managed an OnPrem Foundry Deployment, overseeing hundreds of Microservices and coordinating with various Open Source Databases.
My contributions extend to innovative projects, including the development of Chat with PDFs, a solution widely adopted by customers to enhance their understanding of data stored in documents, employing Language Model technologies. Prior to this, I delved into data engineering at Voicegain, concentrating on segmenting, categorizing, and tokenizing data for a Named Entity Recognition Platform. I've also gained valuable experience as a Product Intern at AlmaConnect.
My passion lies in collaborative work environments, and I derive immense satisfaction from projects that make a tangible impact on people's daily lives.
Beyond the professional sphere, I am an enthusiastic Squash and Ping Pong player. I am also deeply interested in ethical considerations, actively participating in Ethics Discussions within my current workplace.
